Konijnenberg Vosselaar

Vosselaar is a green town of Frankish origin in the north of the province of Antwerp.  The canal “Dessel – Schoten” forms the northern border of the town and the highway E34 forms the southern border.

The Tourism Vosselaar  association promotes tourism in Vosselaar.  They developed various walking and cycling routes in Vosselaar and organize a range of tourist activities.  In addition, they are involved in a variety of global initiatives, such as the cycle event “De Schakel” that takes place in August.

Vosselaar has a lot to offer to tourists.  The “Konijnenberg” for example is a wonderful piece of nature ideal for a relaxing walk.  In the church you can admire a statue of the virgin Mary, carved in pear tree wood.  The statue was discovered in 1220 and has been idolized by the town’s inhabitants and prilgrims for many years.   But there are many other beautiful places in our town that are definitely worth a visit!

The staff at the tourist desk are happy to provide information about the different things to see in our town, walking and cycling routes, local products, etc.  On weekdays you can find a tourist information desk in the town hall;  on Saturday and Sunday the library staff will be happy to provide you with all the information you need.
